Current Focus

My work has progressed from mechanical engineering and spacecraft structures into spacecraft systems, mission analysis and autonomous distributed spacecraft.

I am particularly interested in engineering problems where mission objectives, orbital dynamics, spacecraft architecture and autonomous decision-making interact.

My current direction is toward research and engineering in space systems, astrodynamics, spacecraft autonomy and exploration mission design, with the long-term objective of doctoral research and contribution to ambitious European space missions.

Research

I am interested in the next generation of spacecraft that must increasingly reason, coordinate and adapt rather than merely execute predetermined commands.

Current themes include distributed spacecraft systems, autonomous reconfiguration, formation flight, collision avoidance, mission optimisation, spacecraft systems engineering and exploration architectures.

Beyond Engineering

Outside engineering, I spend much of my time around mountains, astrophotography, music, drawing and cinematography.

Somewhere between seeing the Milky Way from the Odisha coast as a teenager and studying spacecraft systems years later, space stopped being merely an interest. It became the direction in which I chose to keep building.
